2 HCl (aq) + H2O2 (aq) + CuS (s) → 2 H2O (l) + S (s) + CuCl2 (aq)
This is an oxidation-reduction (redox) reaction:
S-II - 2 e- → S0 (oxidation)
2 O-I + 2 e- → 2 O-II (reduction)
CuS is a reducing agent, H2O2 is an oxidizing agent.
